Some places, the content i straight statistics but gathered and presented in a unique way, like a list of all players with more that 100 international caps
I particularly liked:
• The analysis of the best World Cup goals, including one which involves 29
passes to get the ball from one penalty area to the other;
• The breakdown of World Cup goals by head, right and left foot;
• The evolution of formations from 1872 to 2017;
• Best long range goals;
• Statistical comparisons of the leagues of Europe.
The information is colourfully presented in graphs, pie-charts, diagrams etc.
It is a book where you could open at any page and find something interesting to read.
